Long sunny spells today, cloud increasing for tomorrow.


Today

A sunny day with just a little patchy cloud developing at times in the far east and south of the island.

Temperature 9'c to 10'c

Wind ENE 21mph gusting to 30mph

Tonight

Clear at first with just a little patchy cloud in the far east and south although later in the night the cloud will increase, perhaps with the odd light shower by dawn.

Temperature 4'c to 6'c widely but a few sheltered rural spots in central, southern and western parts could fall as low as 1'c

Wind ENE 19-28mph becoming 23mph gusting to 32mph

Tomorrow

More cloud around to start the working week, possibly with the odd light shower too although some bright or sunny spells are likely to develop at times. A line of more frequent showers will be running southwestwards through the English channel just to the south of the island and the northern edge of the shower line may clip the far south of the island at times.

Wind ENE 22mph gusting to 34mph
